Social Networks

Assalamualaikum and a very good day dear readers.

Most of us do have our own social networks aite? What are the things that you always post in your social networks? As for me, I usually post my happy feelings, the truth (usually flaws) of our government and my opinion about it, quran/ hadith verses, advices etc.

I know very well that not all people enjoy reading my statuses in my social networks especially when it comes to political issues. Well guys, I'm just trying to enlighten some facts that we as citizens of the country should know, so that we won't be cheated over and over again. (I don't know if any of you guys love to be cheated)

In this post, I'd like to point out 3 things that I personally do not enjoy reading/ seeing in social networks :

1. Curses.Your anger towards your friends/family members are not meant to be shared in your social networks. Seriously, if you are not satisfied, why don't you just confront them. You might hurt others with your words because they wouldn't know whom are you pointing your anger at. It's not professional anyway.

IM ANGRY!! STAY AWAY FROM ME!!

p/s : I love it when people share their happiness in their social networks. Sedap mata memandang. But please, do not brag. You might end up annoying people. hehehe.

2.  The pictures of foods that you had eaten. Be it for your breakfast/ lunch/ dinner etc. Not all your social networks' friends can afford those foods. Can you imagine them drooling over those pictures without having the chance to taste them?

This is what I had for dinner!! Yeah, smell them :)

3. Your romantic relationship with your partner. Please. You don't have to let the whole world to see your "intimacy" by having romantic conversations in your social networks (unless you are married).

I love you. Let the whole world know baby..

Okay. That's all for now. Honestly, before this, I did show my anger in fb (but I never cursed I think :P  ). I also did post a few pictures of foods. I regretted doing those things. Thus, I come out with this. So, this post is actually a reminder to myself. Well, you can follow it if you like. Hehehe. But, the 3rd one, I never did. If I did, it was with my family members which I think is okay. I mean, after all, they are my family members. Mahram tuuu. hehehe :)

P/S :Don't kill me. This is my personal opinion. Everybody has their own aite. You may not agree with me. It doesn't matter. :)

Power vs Powerless

I have the POWER! so, just shut up and listen!!

One fine afternoon...

Abu   : Ali, can you accompany me to the police station after this.

Ali      : Erkk. But why?

Boss   : What kind of question is that. Don't you know that Amat threatened me yesterday. He
said he'll put a bomb in my car.

Ali      : Like seriously? I thought that was a joke. I mean, he mentioned that in the
conversation that he had with you in facebook.

Abu   : So what. Just because it was mentioned in facebook, you think it is not serious?

Ali      : But he ended his so-called "threat" with "hahahaha". I mean, urm, I just couldn't see
              the seriousness there.

Abu    : I don't care. I still feel insecure.

Ali       : I see. I guess we need to bring Amat along then.

Abu     : Hahahaha. You are so lame. You don't have to bring the criminal along with you to
              lodge a police report.

Ali        : My dear "intelligent" friend, I'm taking him as a victim here. Not a criminal.

Abu      : What kind of joke is this?

Ali        :  Well, I think Amat should feel insecure too.

Abu      : Why??

Ali         : Because his "threat" was to answer your " I'll kill you if you come late to the office
tomorrow." statement. You don't even put "hahahaha" in the end of your
                statement.

Abu       : Now, this is funny!! Hahahaha. Don't you even dream to do that.

Ali         : Give me ONE concrete reason for that statement.

Abu      : Simply because I know people with power. Hence, I have the POWER. And Amat is
just a poor POWERLESS guy! In this country, people with power rule. And for those
powerless ones, well, you guyscan just get ready to be crushed anytime and anywhere
              we like.

Ali         :   ............................ *sigh*

You've got to listen to me even when I'm bullshitting!

Where are you?

Where do I find you?
I've tried searching for you
Everywhere
Are you here
With me?
Are you there
With them?

If only you are visible
SINCERITY.

I Know, I Ignore

I know,
I am no blind,
I just ignore,
I need more time.

I know,
I'm hurt,
I just ignore,
I'm tired.

It Won't Last Forever

Assalamualaikum and a very good day dear readers ;)

These few days, I have been observing my friends' statuses in Facebook, Twitter as well as their posts in the blogs. Some sounded happy, some angry, some were sad and there were also some that sounded as if the writers have lose their faiths. In contrary, I myself did not really update my status in any of my social networks these 2-3 days because people say, "the lesser we talk the lesser mistakes we would possibly make." Maybe you will understand what I'm talking about if you have read my previous post entitled Thank You. Honestly there were times that I felt like posting something, but considering that it might hurt the other party, I decided not to do so. And yeah..I'm quite proud with myself that I managed to do so. (Okay2, I know it's not even 1 week yet, but I least I'm trying. Kan3?? Hehehehe )

Yeay!! I made it!! xD

Now, I'm going off track. Ngeee. :)

Okay, back to the topic, reading all these made me realize something. Sometimes we worry too much about the small things that happened in our lives. Of course "we" here includes ME as well. Hehehehe. ;)

But, Prophet (S.A.W) PBUH once said that:

"The world is just like a drop of water from the ocean and the ocean is the hereafter"

See...

So, after reading this I realize that we (including me) should not get carried away with all the things that are happening in this world (be it good or be it bad). Oppsss. I am NOT asking you guys to be an ignorant. No..No..No.. What I'm trying to say here is, if something bad happens to us, we should accept it with our full heart (redha) because it won't last forever people. We will all die one day. But there, in 'akhirat', yeah that one IS INDEED EVER LASTING. In addition, "Nothing happens without Allah's permission" (At-Thagaabun 64:11). The same goes if good things happen to us. We must remember that they won't last long. So, do not forget Allah. Be grateful and act modestly because Allah S.W.T do not only test us through pain but also comfort.

I think that's all for now and I truly hope that this entry would at least help 1 or 2 of you to change your perceptions and way of thinking about life. The point is, DO NOT ever go against Allah, and you'll be safe! InsyaAllah ;)

Yes, Allah ALWAYS knows the BEST! ;)

Thank You ;)

Assalamualaikum and good evening dear readers ;)

This entry is simply written to thank you. Yes you who made me realize something. You woke me up and made me realize that I did not WALK my TALK. No, I did not. I put up a lot of hadiths and verses from Al-Quran in Facebook and Twitter yet I did not practice them. When I get emotional (especially due to political issues) I will simply write emotional statuses. You made me realize that the Prophet S.A.W (PBUH) spread his "dakwah" through a soft way that he eventually successfully soften a lot of hearts. That's how it should be. Thus, from now on, I will try not to get emotional upon any issues. InsyAllah. Because when we are emotional, we become irrational. Well, nobody would want to listen from irrational people aite? ;)

However, as a normal human being, the tendency for me to repeat my mistakes is VERY HIGH. Therefore, I would really appreciate if any of you who feel that I am doing something wrong to let me know. Sometimes I just don't realize. Do remind me dear friends. Thank You. Hugs and kisses ;)

p/s: to you-know-who-you-are : If you happen to read this, I just want you to know that AGAIN, the talk that we had last 2 days was full of benefits (at least for me). So, thanks a lot. Feel free to advise me whenever I am wrong. Love you. ;)

So teacher, are we living in a democratic country?

Assalamualaikum and good evening dear readers.

As a teacher-to-be, I always imagine all kind of weird and tough questions that my students might ask me in the future. Well, the students nowadays are very creative in asking questions you see. So I feel that I need to have early preparation. And yesterday, a question struck my mind and I truly have NO exact answer for it. So I wonder if my student will ask me the same question. How should I answer them. Below is the situation that I might face:

ME            : Okay class, today we are learning about the ruling systems in countries around
                     the world.

STUDENT : What are they teacher?

ME             : They are democracy system, autocracy system, republic system and many more.
We'll go through one by one ya?

STUDENT : Okay. So what is democracy system teacher?

ME             : Basically it is a system where the public is given full right to choose their leader
and they have an equal say in the decisions that affect their lives.

STUDENT : So what about our country teacher? Are we living in a democratic country?

ME             : .....................

Now, tell me what should I answer? Yeah right, I might simply answer "YES, WE ARE". But what if they come across the pictures below?

I have NO SAY on all of these pictures because they say a government servant or even a government servant-to-be cannot go against the government. And that's how democratic we are ;)
